ASC Books Terms and Conditions

ASC Books is operated by Alvarys SC LLC, located at 301 S McDowell Street 1251726, Charlotte, NC 28204, United States. These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through www.asc-books.com and your use of the website.

1. Orders and payment

You must provide accurate contact, billing, shipping, and payment information and be authorized to use your chosen payment method.

Prices, available formats, and applicable shipping charges and taxes are displayed before payment. Review your order carefully before submitting it.

If you need to correct an order, email support@asc-books.com promptly. Changes may not be possible once fulfillment begins.

If we cannot fulfill an order because of an availability issue or listing error, we will notify you. Canceled items and associated charges will be refunded.

2. Shipping

We ship to the United States and Canada, subject to the delivery options available at checkout.

Customers are responsible for shipping charges unless an offer or our Refund and Return Policy states otherwise. Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address.

Estimated delivery dates may be affected by carrier or customs delays. If we cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will provide the notices, cancellation options, and refunds required by applicable law.

Any applicable Canadian import charges not collected at checkout will be disclosed before purchase where required.

3. Final sales and refunds

Book sales are final except for books that arrive damaged and qualify under our Refund and Return Policy, or where applicable law requires another remedy.

Damage must be reported to support@asc-books.com within three calendar days after delivery under our voluntary damage policy.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns. Books used beyond reasonable inspection, written in, altered, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for a voluntary refund.

Opening packaging or a book solely to inspect its condition does not invalidate an otherwise eligible damage claim.

Our Refund and Return Policy explains carrier reporting, supporting documentation, shipping costs, and refund procedures.

4. Preorders and bulk orders

Preorder shipping estimates and any special conditions will be disclosed before purchase. Delays will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Bulk orders and services may have additional written terms agreed to before purchase.

5. Website content and use

Website text, artwork, graphics, logos, and other protected materials belong to ASC Books or their respective owners. Purchasing a product does not transfer intellectual property rights.

You may not reproduce or distribute protected material without permission, except as permitted by law. You may not use the website for fraud, unlawful activity, or interference with its operation.

6. Third-party retailers

Purchases made through Amazon, Walmart, or another retailer are subject to that retailer’s purchase and return procedures. Contact the retailer directly for assistance with those orders.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and share personal information.

8. Applicable law and consumer rights

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina and applicable United States federal law, except where mandatory laws in your place of residence require otherwise.

Nothing in these terms limits any consumer right, warranty, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable protections for Canadian customers.

9. Updates

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively remove rights associated with an existing order.
